The shop
Clean shop, sports capes, no attitude.
Get Faded sits on Imperial Highway with the navy front and the big white sign. Inside it's grey brick, a row of chairs, TVs on, and a cabinet of Funko Pops with a Godzilla standing guard over the styling products.
The capes are Lakers gold and Dodgers blue, which tells you most of what you need to know about the place. It's a Downey shop, and it feels like one.
What keeps the rating at 4.9 is not the decor though. It's that people ask for something specific and get exactly that, first time, whether they've been coming for years or walked in off the street.

“Ima be completely honest this barbershop has given me the best customer service out of my 24 years of life. The shop is very clean and inviting. My go to guy is Chris and he takes the utmost care of my cut. For reference, I have mixed hair with curls and I get really good cuts here. You will not regret it.”

“I came into town and looked up a place in the area. I found this place and called them up. They were able to quickly get me a spot on the same day, even though they were quite busy. I didn't have to wait long. The barber (Cris) was professional and friendly. Welcomed my input and made sure I got the haircut I wanted. No problem at all.”
